Big Brother 8 Final HOH; 3 Part Head Of Household Competition
Yay! Zach won the first leg of the Big Brother 8 3 Part Head Of Household Competition! I am so happy. I don’t know if he can pull off winning the final HOH competition to be the final Head of Household (I’m so glad they do it in a 3 part format), but I would love to see him win Big Brother 8, for sure!
Two things surprised me in this – I was surprised that Danielle lost so early in this leg of the HOH Competition. And I was surprised that Dick held on so long. 8 hours he and Zach stood out there!
Zach definitely deserved to win. I truly hope he goes on to be Head of Household. They always say lying and manipulation is the way to win the game. I disagree. I think it’s the EASIEST way to win the game. But I’d like to see Zach prove that it’s possible to win by more honorable tactics.
I think the next part of the competition is tonight. That will be between Dick and Danielle. I’m sure they’ll just decide who would be best to got on to compete against Zach and one will throw it to the other.
Then on Thursday’s live show will be the final part of the 3 Part competition. I predict Danielle will go up against Zach and the winner will be the Head of Household. Then the jury house people get to vote who comes in second and who comes in first and wins Big Brother 8! (I’m so glad they finally showed the jury (sequester) house!
I don’t believe that Zach deserves to win this competition. He hasn’t made any strategic moves AT ALL while in the house. Dick and Daniele have been on the block together 3 times, and all three times they were BOTH left in the house. If that isn’t strategic play, I don’t know what is. They definitely deserve to win this game.

Well hate to say it but “GOOD STRATEGY” isn’t necessarily just being manipulative and outspoken, Different strategies work for different people and while Dick chose to be rude loud and obnoxious and try to beat people down with words it may have hurt him in the long run ..YES,Dick’s strategies worked for him to get people out of the house and rattle there cages so much they would be nervous and lose all the comps but he didn’t think about the fact that the same people he bullied and personally attacked on the show are the one’s who ultimately decide who gets the money..Now I know it could very well come down to Dick and Danielle final two and then either way one of them gets it ! I know Zach hasn’t said or done much in the house verbally or even competitively until the last couple of weeks but whatever he’s doing is CLEARLY working cause he is still there and he has a better chance of getting the money “IF” he makes it to the final two than the Donato’s . That being said I enjoyed watching Dick this season he is unlike any other guest I have seen in the past he may have been rude and I personally don’t agree with all of his tactic’s but I appreciate the fact that he tell’s it like it is! Kinda fun watching him tear down people like Jenn and Kail who obviously needed a rude awakening anyways.

Zach hasnt played the game? Are you kidding? He has been there since the beginning and in the house just as long as Dick and Danielle. Dick may have come up with some strategy but he hasnt done anymore “playing” than Zach. Zach has floated a bit but that is also part of a strategy for most elimination base reality shows. He has made the right alliances when he has needed to and also made the move to put up the Donato’s. He has also won two HOH’s and at least one veto, im not totally sure. We watch all the broadcasts and the After Dark show. Dick is just that. Little Danielle says she doesnt condone what her Daddy does or says, yeah right. She is just the same as he is only more underhanded. Dick and Danielle whined, cryed, and moped after they figured out Zach was going to put them up. Dick went on about alliances and sticking to your word. When they flipped sides on Eric and Jesscia, Eric didnt whine like a little girl. He took it like a true player and hasnt even been able to play the game he would have liked to play per being America’s Player. Dick and Danielle do deserve to win the game, I will admit that but Danielle more so than Dick since she has carried him more than he has carried himself. Zach deserves to win every bit as much as Dick does and if he wins this final HOH then he deserves to win as much as Danielle does. The reason Dicki boy is so up in arms is because he know he has no chance in hell of beating Zach and he isnt sure that Danielle can beat Zach either. Jameka would have beat any of the final three had she made it to the final two. This would have happened strictly on her not pissin people off, I dont believe she would have deserved to win by way of her paltry game play but she would have never the less. Danielle, Dick, and Zach all deserve to win in some form or fashion but Zach has played and played well when it counted and made the right alliances when he has needed to. Dick will throw the second round because he knows his daughter has a better chance to beat Zach in the third round. Dick did suprise me by lasting so long, the old man has some heart but is still a dick. The reason Danielle folded so quickly is strictly a matter of biology. She has almost no fat on her body which is greatttt for working at Hooters but not so great for insulation when one is wet and cold, and yes it does get cold in California at night. That is the same reason Zach outlasted Dick. Zach has the most insulation and wanted it just as bad. If ya noticed, Zach was the last one to start shivering. Once your body gets cold enough, it doesnt matter what your mind wants and its only a matter of time. I will leave you with one final thought. Big Brother is not stupid and dont think for a second that they did not know this first round would end up this way. Danielle never stood a chance in this round once the water started coming down and from there it was a 50/50 that Zach would beat Dick who also is on the thin side. I really found it comical when Dick was ranking on Zach’s supposed anorexic girl friend. Game play or not, strategy or not, you dont always need to be and a**&^%e to win.
I think we’ve all been played! For two people who hadn’t spoken in years they sure got chummy, chummy in a hurry. These two even manipulated BB into their little game. Zach may not “deserve” to win but he is certainly the lesser of two evils!

I think The Donato’s (Dick and Daniele) deserve to win…. thay have played the hell out of this game and I would love to see them two go on to the top 2… GO DICK AND DANIELE!!!! Oh and by the way I absolutely hate Zach, he DOES NOT deserve to win this game….
Way to go Zach! While I totally disagree with the whole “good people” concept that so many of those two faced fools in the jury house have been clinging to, I definitely would like to see Zach win. His alliance got blown up and he had no choice but to lay low and stay under the radar for a long time. Had he won anything after Kail got booted he would have been on the block in a nanosecond. Clearly he is capable as he has shown several times lately. It is strategy and anyone who says otherwise is a moron.
Dick and Danielle are as unpleasant as any two people to ever be on this show. Rude, self centered, arrogant, obnoxious, and the list of negative adjectives that apply to them goes on and on. What is really awful about them is how they see themselves. They talk about always being honest, but they’ve lied just as much as anyone else. They talk about how they’ve already won now that Jameka is gone, but no one in the jury house likes them. I really hope Zach wins HOH so there is a reason to watch the finale other than to see all of them react to finding out Eric was America’s Player. If it’s Dick vs. Danielle, I’ll turn it off before watching those two butts gloat and win.

Interesting that on Showtime, Daniel twice gave Dick hell for mentioning producer, Dick had applied several times for prior shows, they ran into each other in hallway at interviews and that Daniel was let into the game when she was not 21 per the rules for all other players… I think we’ve ALL been played by CBS… this game has a feel of being strongly manipulated by CBS.

Dick wouldn’t even be in the game if it wasn’t for the America’s Player BS that got Dustin booted instead. Both he and Danielle are complete hypocrites. I particularly love the way they’ve tried to kiss Jameka’s ass before she left…yeah they’re “keeping it real in the house”. Please. I wish someone would go back at Dick just as hard as he comes at anyone…the loser, dinosaur, LA-wannabe, washed-up burnout would probably slit his wrists in the bathroom. I agree with Mindy: zach lucked into this: he really isn’t smart enough to beat Danielle/Dick. He got as far as he has by lying low: that is NOT playing the game, being competitive: that’s called: Copping-out.
Jason, D&D play a great game. They call out the liars as necessary: that’ what you need to do. they did not roll over & play “not there” like zach.
Hi! I’ve watched Big Brother since it first came on; probably you guys too. I totally want Zach to win. He’s honest and has truly played the game. I do have sympathy for Danielle and even Dick. Dani is very nice even when she fibs; but she is a game player, I’ll give her that. Dick has been a bully. The nice nastiness doesn’t work for me. However, it has been a great season compatred to others. I think Zach is the sleeper.
Playing the game is more than winning HOH or POV; it’s SURVIVING to the end. Zach has done this. Sorry, I have to go.
I hope Zach wins HOH so he can finally call out dick and daniele yes they have played well at least daniele she just took her dad along. Zach hopefully wins dick goes home and daniele and zack are final two one of the denato’s deserve to go home.
Dick and Danielle have had an unfair advantage from the beginning of the game! To say that they played the game better than anyone else is ridiculous. The only reason they made it as far as they did is because they had a guaranteed 2 votes between them rather than 1 like everyone else. No one else went into the game with a guaranteed alliance, so the Danatos were one step ahead before the game even started.
They absolutely do not deserve to win. They rub it in everyone’s face when they win something, but then go off and cry or ridicule others when they lose. Zach is gracious winner and loser. I hope Zach can pull it off.
The thing is, Dick is hanging onto Danielle. She is carrying him. Plain and simple. Zach blew it when he didn’t backdoor them two weeks ago. He passed on the POV. He could have put one up, but instead left Eric and Jameka up. So that was a dumb move. But, Danielle has played the smartest game, but I hope Zach wins. Those two rubbed me the wrong way from day 1.
Does Danielle have a boyfriend afterward? I would guess a few hundred thou could make for a lot of forgiveness.
I’d rather have Dick or Zack win it. They are true players and keep it real. Dick would do anything for his daughter but she would sell him out without thinking twice. All she is a gold digger, if there was a rich guy on the show she would have been all over him.

You all have some great points for both sides I will totally agree with that! but Im sticking by what I said originally ..I WANT ZACH TO WIN! He may not have been as forward,obnoxious and rude as the rest but he made it this far and to be honest thats all that really counts “right now”? Isnt it? ..and he did it without the benefits of having a close friend or family member there to play along side of. Like I said Dick and Danielle have played an awesome game no denying that..I just hate how cocky they are getting? They haven’t won yet and there talking like they have do they even realize the jury house is watching the tapes each week?..Yes odd’s are in there favor for final two.. DUH, but the game is not over til it’s over..If you had asked me 4 weeks ago if Zach could win I would’ve laughed..but last few weeks he has completely impressed me..He’s shown me anything is possible folks..May the best player win
Why so many supporters for Dick? I have a son, and I am pretty sure I will never put myself into a position to have my child hate me, and not speak for 6 years. That says alot about the man. His attacks cross the line, and the guise of “this is part of the game” is a really sad and pathetic excuse to run around acting like a jackass. Danielle is no better. They really need to stop acting surprised when they get “played”, yet they can play anyone they want? Nice selective memory skills. Why do those who can’t compete, or are rooting for those who can’t compete, always take the pathetic moral or ethical position as if this “GAME” has never been played or seen before? I guess bluffing in poker is lying and you shouldn’t be able to win being that immoral or unethical. A game is always fair when everyone goes in knowing and accepting the rules as they have always existed. They all did! This was like observing a hooker’s convention and having some of the participants claim they are virgins when there is video evidence to the contrary. The Donato’s had a huge target on them from week 2 forward. If they weren’t taken out by those who could have but didn’t should at least have to admit stupidity. This group in the jury house is BB6 redoux.
