Not Quite What I Meant
I’m with you Naomi, about what you commented about! But that wasn’t quite what I was referring to here. It’s actually something very sweet and I do like the person I’m referring to. I just wanted to be clear that we’re just friends.
And it’s hard to do that when the person hasn’t come right out and said they like you like that, but you can definitely tell. So I thought a vague post here would help, but I think it’s just been totally the wrong tack to take and really, I’ve probably been tactless and hurtful when I didn’t mean to be.

i’m sorry that things got blown up. that sucks. i thought you were talking about strangers, which in my case doesn’t just mean that i didn’t know them from adam.
sometimes the ‘just friends’ thing is hard to hear when one doesn’t want to hear it.
